Murano Wall Full acoustic panel for cuttable ceilings
Available in through‑coloured finish, wood print, or marble print, it enables the creation of customized ceilings while improving the acoustic comfort of spaces.
Designed as a free‑composition surface, Murano Ceiling fits seamlessly into tertiary environments as well as public‑access facilities.
Its cuttable design offers great freedom of installation, allowing the panels to be adapted to the architectural, technical, or aesthetic constraints of the project.
Beyond its decorative role, Murano Ceiling benefits from CHOC certification compliant with DIN 18032‑3 class D2, applicable to ceiling elements in sports facilities.
This compliance authorizes its use in gymnasiums, multisport halls, schools, and other spaces exposed to repeated impacts, while maintaining acoustic performance and user safety.
CHOC certification: lab-tested impact resistance
Murano Ceiling was tested by the independent laboratory LABOSPORT according to DIN 18032‑3, which defines impact resistance requirements for elements installed in sports halls and intensive‑use spaces.
Tests performed:
- 54 handball shots at 100 km/h
- 12 hockey ball shots at 85 km/h
Results:
- no structural degradation
- no loss of functionality or safety
- only minor local deformations (≤ 3 mm)
Murano Ceiling therefore meets the requirements of sports facilities exposed to repeated impacts.
Murano Plafond répond ainsi aux exigences des équipements sportifs soumis à des impacts répétés.
Design & finishes: an architectural acoustic surface
Designed as a full rPET panel to be cut to size, Murano Ceiling stands out thanks to:
- large format limiting visual joints
- direct and simplified installation
- high cutting freedom to adapt to technical constraints
- through‑coloured finish ensuring homogeneity and durability
- wood and marble prints offering material‑like aesthetics without natural‑material constraints
Marble print: a mineral‑inspired acoustic finish
The marble print gives Murano a more premium appearance, inspired by mineral surfaces used in demanding architectural projects.
It recreates the look of marble on an rPET acoustic panel, with lighter installation, simplified handling, and integrated acoustic performance.
The Murano Marble collection includes 3 complementary patterns designed to:
- reduce repetition effects
- create visually natural surfaces
- ensure smooth continuity on large wall or ceiling areas
This finish provides a strong architectural effect without the weight, cutting, or installation constraints of natural marble.
Acoustic performance: integrated correction for ceiling surfaces
At 12 mm thickness, Murano provides a performance of 0.52 alpha‑sabine, suitable for reducing sound reflections on vertical surfaces.
For more demanding acoustic objectives, the 24 mm and 72 mm versions increase the absorption level depending on the project configuration.
Murano therefore makes it possible to:
- reduce reverberation
- improve speech intelligibility
- lower noise disturbances in shared spaces
- integrate acoustic correction directly into the architectural ceiling design
Recommended applications
Murano Ceiling is particularly suited for:
- gymnasiums and sports facilities
- schools
- multipurpose halls
- cultural spaces
- public buildings subject to impact constraints
Murano Marble is ideal for:
- restaurants & hospitality
- premium offices
- reception areas
- event venues
Eco‑responsibility & Arteck commitments
Murano is part of a sustainable design approach adapted to intensive‑use environments:
- rPET fiber from recycled and recyclable sources
- French manufacturing
- long‑lasting solution for demanding environments
- CHOC certification according to DIN 18032‑3, class W3
Murano combines design freedom, impact resistance, and acoustic performance, with a range of finishes meeting both aesthetic and technical requirements of architectural projects.

Our products are designed and manufactured in France, in our Miribel workshop, near Lyon. We make it a point of honour to promote local know-how and limit our carbon footprint.
We are part of the French Fab label.
We apply rigorous controls throughout the manufacturing process. In addition, our products are laboratory tested to guarantee their acoustic efficiency and durability.
Yes, our acoustic solutions are easy to maintain. We recommend dry cleaning with a hoover or soft cloth. For stains, a slightly damp cloth with neutral soap can be used.
Our products are designed for indoor use and in normal humidity conditions. For very humid environments (swimming pool, sauna), we advise you to consult us in order to propose a suitable solution.
To prepare an accurate quote, we need the following information:
- Detailed description of the project (dimensions, type of product required)
- Aesthetic requirements (colour, branding)
- Technical constraints (fire safety, installation environment)
