Anse Town Hall
Creating lasting acoustic comfort in a space open to the public
Challenge
During the construction of a new building, Anse Town Hall created a large 177 m² room designed to accommodate both town council meetings and events such as weddings. To ensure optimum comfort for users, it was vital to control the acoustics of this space while preserving the room’s aesthetic harmony and meeting fire safety requirements, given the residential accomadation directly above.

Solutions
Arteck Design developed a bespoke solution, installing suspended sound absorbers made from compact 12 mm rPET fibre, cut to form elegant waves. This unique design not only absorbs noise effectively, but also blends in perfectly with the interior architecture.
The beige finish adds warmth and a contemporary touch, complementing the surrounding materials and colour palette of wood, white, beige and black.
As well as being aesthetically pleasing and high-performing, these suspended sound absorbers comply with fire safety standards and are installed without interfering with sprinklers and lighting.
Results
Thanks to this installation, the large hall at Anse Town Hall has been transformed into a spacious, modern and welcoming environment.
The controlled acoustics ensure optimum comfort during events, without disturbing the residents on the floor above.
This solution combines aesthetics, functionality and environmental performance, with 100% recycled and recyclable rPET fibre.
