Anse Town Hall
Controlled acoustics for a versatile, elegant space at Anse town hall
Challenge
During the construction of a new building, Anse Town Hall created a large 177 m² room designed to accommodate both town council meetings and events such as weddings. In order to ensure optimum comfort for users, it was vital to control the acoustics of this space while respecting the aesthetic harmony of the site and the fire regulations imposed by the presence of accommodation located directly above.

Solutions
Arteck Design devised a bespoke solution, installing suspended sound absorbers made from compact 12 mm rPET fibre, cut to form elegant waves. This unique design not only absorbs noise effectively, but also blends in perfectly with the interior architecture.
The beige colour adds a touch of warmth and modernity in harmony with the surrounding materials (wood, white, beige and black).
As well as being aesthetically pleasing and high-performing, these suspended sound absorbers comply with fire safety standards and can be installed without interfering with sprinklers and lights.
Results
Thanks to this installation, the large hall at Anse town hall has become a vast, modern and welcoming space.
The controlled acoustics ensure optimum comfort during events, without disturbing the residents on the floor above.
This solution combines aesthetics, functionality and environmental performance, with 100% recycled and recyclable rPET fibre.
