AP-HP
Ensuring acoustic comfort in the meeting rooms and amphitheatre of the new AP-HP headquarters.
Challenge
For its new headquarters, the AP-HP wanted an optimal acoustic environment in its meeting spaces. The ChartierDalix architecture and landscape agency, which was in charge of the project, was looking for a French-made, high-performance, sturdy and simple solution that met the site’s standards.
The challenge was to adapt to the dimensions and technical elements such as a large retractable door, light fittings, etc.

Solutions
Murano panels glued directly to the surfaces and Porto ceiling slats rose to the challenge.
Not even the large retractable amphitheatre door, lights, video projectors and other technical elements in the meeting rooms stop Murano panels and Porto ceiling slats. All it takes is a simple cut-out, suitable fastenings and everything can be adapted in the blink of an eye.
In addition to their performance against noise pollution, their sturdiness ensures their durability under intensive use – and like all our solutions, they are made in France, in our workshop in the Lyon region.
Murano is simple, but the choice of a strong midnight blue colour lends an aesthetic identity to the spaces treated and adorns the surfaces with style. As for Porto, its use in strips gives rhythm to the ceiling in question, and the light colour adds height.
Results
Murano’s simplicity and efficiency won over the site’s designers. With its large 12 mm rPET fibre panels which can be cut to shape and glued directly to walls and ceilings, Murano was easily scaled to the size of the meeting rooms to be soundproofed on both walls and ceilings.
After quick and durable installation, the meeting rooms and amphitheatre are now ready for work sessions and presentations in the service of public health in a setting which is both beautiful and conducive to exchanges.
